The webinar will focus on vulnerability, how to avoid scams, and talk to customers about financial vulnerability and alternatives.
The Council will be joined by the following speakers:
Danielle Faulkner, Customer outcomes manager oversees the vulnerable customer proposition at Legal and General Home Finance and is responsible for ensuring good outcomes are delivered across the customer journey. Danielle maintains the vulnerable customer strategy to define how Legal & General identifies, manages, and protects its customers in vulnerable circumstances, aligning with regulatory changes.
Nick Birdseye, Strategic partner development director. Nick works with existing and new strategic partners to develop retirement lending distribution and advice opportunities, whilst helping businesses broaden their customer propositions. He understands both retirement mortgage and wealth management customers having led national advice distribution networks at both L&G and Aviva. Nick has worked closely with bank and building society partners and understands the challenges of meeting customer needs in these sectors.
Richard Lane, StepChange director of external affairs and operating subsidiaries leads the charity’s external affairs department, which covers its policy, campaigning, communications, and digital functions. He oversees StepChange’s two operating subsidiaries, of which one is StepChange Financial Solutions, which has been operating in the equity release market for over a decade.
There will also be a Q&A session facilitated by Kelly Melville-Kelly, the Equity Release Council’s head of risk, policy, and compliance.
